Maker's Ledger is a pricing and profit tool for handmade sellers that lives entirely on your device. Everything you enter, your materials, your recipes, your shop rates, and your orders, is stored locally on your phone and nowhere else. We don't run a server for this app, we don't have accounts, and we don't collect, see, or share anything you put into it. Your shop's numbers are yours alone. If you delete the app, your data goes with it.
Maker's Ledger saves the content you create directly in the app to a local database on your device: your materials (what you paid and how much you got), your product recipes, your shop rates (hourly rate, overhead percent, marketplace fee percent, and margin percent), and your logged orders, including the cost and labor figures each order locks in at the moment you log the sale. None of this is sent anywhere. It stays in the app's local storage, the same way a notes app keeps your entries on your phone. Your shop's numbers are yours alone; we never see them.
Maker's Ledger does not connect to the internet as part of using the app (the only exception is Apple's StoreKit, for the optional purchase). There's no sign-up, no login, no account of any kind, and no server that the app talks to. We verified this directly in the app's code: there is no networking code anywhere in it. That means there is nothing for us to collect, store on our end, lose in a breach, or sell, because nothing ever leaves your device in the first place.
Maker's Ledger does not send push or local notifications. If a future version adds them, this policy will be updated first, and any notification would only ever relate to your own shop, never to marketing or third-party messages.
Maker's Ledger does not request or use your location, camera, photo library, contacts, or health data. The app doesn't ask for any of these permissions, because it doesn't need them to do anything it does.
Maker's Ledger offers one optional in-app purchase, Maker's Ledger Pro, a one-time unlock with no subscription of any kind. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details; the app only learns from Apple's own on-device purchase record whether Pro is unlocked, so it can remove the free tier's product and order limits.
Nothing. We, Canyon Sky Rain LLC, do not receive any information from Maker's Ledger. We don't operate a backend for this app, we don't use analytics or advertising tools inside it, and we have no way to see what you've entered, how you use it, or who you are. Standard app-distribution information that Apple itself collects when you download or update any app from the App Store (such as download counts or crash reports you choose to share with Apple) is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not ours, and we don't receive personal details from that process either.
Maker's Ledger is a business tool for adult and teen sellers running a handmade shop; it isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, adult or child, because the app doesn't collect information from anyone at all. If you believe a child has used the app and have a concern about the content stored on their device, that content lives locally on the device itself and can be deleted at any time by deleting the app.
Because everything stays on your device, you're always in control of it. Deleting a material, product, or order inside the app deletes it immediately. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored, including your materials, recipes, shop rates, and order history, since there is no copy anywhere else to retain. We keep nothing after that, because we never had anything to begin with.
If we change how Maker's Ledger handles your information, for example by adding a feature that requires a new permission or an account, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. We'd encourage you to check back here occasionally, especially before a major app update.
