Paycheck Envelopes doesn't collect your data because it can't. There's no account to create, no server to send anything to, and no bank connection of any kind. You type in your paycheck amounts, your envelopes, and your spending, and every one of those numbers stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, and nothing is sold, because the app has no way to do any of those things.
Paycheck Envelopes stores the information you type in, and only that:
All of it lives in the app's local database on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere, and Paycheck Envelopes has no server for it to go to even if it wanted to.
Paycheck Envelopes cannot see your bank account, your card, or any financial institution. There is nothing to log into and nothing to connect. The app only knows what you type into it by hand: a paycheck amount, an envelope name, a spending amount. It has no network code of its own, so there is no channel for your financial information to leave your device through this app.
Paycheck Envelopes does not send push notifications or local notifications of any kind. It does not ask for notification permission because it has no use for one.
Paycheck Envelopes does not access your location, camera, contacts, or health data. It does not request any of these permissions, because the app has no feature that uses them.
Paycheck Envelopes offers one optional in-app purchase, Paycheck Budget Pro, which unlocks unlimited paychecks and your full history. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit; Paycheck Envelopes never sees or stores your payment information. Apple's own privacy practices govern that part of the transaction; see Apple's privacy policy for details.
Nothing. Canyon Sky Rain LLC does not receive, store, or have access to any information you enter into Paycheck Envelopes. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no tracking of any kind built into the app.
Paycheck Envelopes is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all. The app carries a 4+ age rating and contains no content unsuitable for a general audience.
Your paychecks, envelopes, and expenses stay on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting the app deletes all of this data along with it. Because nothing is ever sent to Canyon Sky Rain LLC, there's nothing on our end to retain or delete. Your device is the only place this information ever exists.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Paycheck Envelopes after a change means you accept the updated policy.
