Putting IQ ("the App") is developed by Canyon Sky Rain LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a Utah limited liability company. Putting IQ is a physics education app for golf putting: interactive lessons, quizzes, a 3D green sandbox, and graded practice drills, all built to run entirely on your device. This policy explains what the App stores, where it lives, and what it doesn't do.
Putting IQ has no servers and no accounts, and it makes no network connection of its own (the optional purchase is handled by Apple's StoreKit). Everything you do in the App, lesson quiz results, practice-drill scores, and the name you type for your printable certificate, is stored only in the App's local storage on your device. Nothing is ever collected, transmitted, sold, or shared. There are no ads and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Putting IQ stores a small amount of information locally so your progress carries forward between sessions:
All of this is stored using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. None of it is backed up to any server we operate, because we don't operate one.
Putting IQ does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use any part of the App. The App contains no networking code of its own. It does not make network requests of its own, does not sync to iCloud or any other cloud service, and cannot reach the internet even if your device is online. Every lesson, quiz, physics simulation, drill, and progress screen runs entirely on your device, with or without a network connection.
Putting IQ does not send push notifications and does not request notification permission. There is nothing to opt in or out of here.
Putting IQ does not request or use your location, does not access your camera or photo library, does not access your contacts, and does not read from or write to Apple Health or any HealthKit data. The App has no feature that would need any of these, and it never asks for them.
Putting IQ is a free download with one optional in-app purchase, a $4.99 one-time unlock (no subscription) for lessons 3 to 7, the three practice drills, and the four-unit course with its certificate. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details; the App only checks, on your device, whether Apple's own purchase record shows the unlock, and that check does not pass through a Canyon Sky Rain LLC server.
Nothing. The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no other third-party service of any kind. We do not know how many people use the App, how they use it, or who they are. If you email us for support, we receive only what you choose to send us, and we use it only to help you.
Putting IQ is a general-audience golf education app, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, because the App does not collect personal information from anyone.
Because everything Putting IQ stores lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting the App removes all of its stored data immediately and completely. We hold no copies anywhere, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end.
We may update this policy as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date above.
