Upswing does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data, from you or about you, with Canyon Sky Rain LLC or with anyone else. Every debt, payment, savings goal, deposit, and bill you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no bank linking, no ads, no analytics, and no servers involved in running the app. If you delete Upswing, your data goes with it, because it was never anywhere else to begin with.
Upswing stores the following, all locally on your device, using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage:
None of this ever leaves your device unless you export or back it up yourself through Apple's own iOS backup and restore mechanisms (such as iCloud device backup or Finder/iTunes backup), which are controlled entirely by Apple and your device settings, not by Upswing.
Upswing does not connect to your bank, credit card issuer, or any financial institution. It cannot see your real account balances or transaction history, and it never asks for banking credentials of any kind. There is no sign-up, sign-in, username, password, or account of any kind, and no server that Upswing talks to on your behalf. Every number in the app is one you typed in yourself, and every calculation happens on your device.
Upswing does not send push notifications, local reminders, or any other kind of notification, and it does not request notification permission. Bill due dates are shown inside the app when you open it; the app does not remind you outside of that.
Upswing does not request or access your location, camera, photo library, contacts, calendar, microphone, or Health data. It has no use for any of them and includes no code that requests these permissions.
Upswing offers one optional in-app purchase, Upswing Pro, a one-time, non-consumable unlock (no subscription) that removes the free version's item limits and is shared automatically with other members of your Apple Family Sharing group. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Canyon Sky Rain LLC does not receive your payment details, and does not store a copy of your purchase or receipt beyond what's needed, on your device, to confirm Upswing Pro is unlocked.
Nothing. Canyon Sky Rain LLC does not collect contact information, financial information, location, health information, contacts, browsing or search history, usage data, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or any other category of data from Upswing. There is no analytics software, advertising software, or tracking software of any kind built into the app, and Upswing does not participate in cross-app or cross-website tracking.
Upswing is a general-audience personal finance and savings tool. It is not directed at children, and because the app collects no data from anyone, of any age, there is no personal information gathered from a child user for Canyon Sky Rain LLC to hold or need to delete.
Because everything Upswing stores lives only on your device, you are always in complete control of it. Deleting a debt, goal, or bill inside the app removes it and its history immediately. Deleting the Upswing app from your device removes everything the app stored, permanently. Canyon Sky Rain LLC has no copy to retain and no separate deletion process to run, because we never had your data in the first place.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date above. Because Upswing's design (no accounts, no servers, no data collection) is a core part of how the app works, any future change that would actually start collecting data would be a significant change to the app itself, not just to this page, and would be described clearly here and in the app's own release notes at that time.
