What it does

The atlas

All 63 national parks plus a growing set of historic sites and markers on a map and a live nearby list. America’s stories, added to over time.

Roadlore Radio

Flip it on and drive. As you near a landmark, its story is read aloud hands-free and works with the screen locked.

Approach alerts

Get a quiet notification when you’re coming up on a park or marker, even if the driver will never, ever stop.

The Passport

A stamp for every landmark you’ve heard, passed, or visited: parks collected, stories heard, states crossed.

Poster share cards

Every landmark gets a vintage travel-poster card, unique to that place, stamped with your date.

Made for the passenger seat

Education and entertainment for everyone in the car. No accounts, and your location is used on your device.

Questions about Roadlore?

Write to roadlore@canyonskyrain.com and a person will answer.

What about my location data? Location is used on your device to find what’s near you. There are no accounts and no location history sent to us.
Does it work while I drive? Yes. Roadlore Radio narrates hands-free with the screen locked, and ducks your music while it speaks.
Is it free? The atlas, stories, on-demand narration, approach alerts, passport, and share cards are free, and Roadlore Radio's automatic drive-narration is free for 10 stories a month. Roadlore Unlimited removes that limit: $2.49 a month, $17.99 a year, or a one-time $49.99 lifetime purchase.
